Why offline-first
What “works offline” actually means here
Most systems stop when the network does, because they read everything from the cloud. We do it the other way round: the database on the machine in front of you is the original, and the cloud is the copy that catches up.

A ledger that never loses a unit
Every stock change is its own signed movement, plus or minus. Two tills can sell at the same moment with neither of them online, and both are right: the balance still comes out correct without the two ever talking to each other.

Receipt numbers that cannot collide
Each till numbers its own receipts, so two of them cannot issue the same number even after a month with no connection between them.

Sync that survives the gap
Anything not yet sent waits its turn on the machine and tries again by itself. The top bar shows when the last sync got through, and says so once it has been more than 72 hours.
